eball as a pitcher. In one regular Little League game, he struck out thir
teen batters. He was also active in seventh grade basketball. While walk
ing home from school, Garry was struck by a car and killed. The driv
er of the car did not stop but was apprehended later in the evening. Gar
ry is buried in the Stiles Cemetery near Lapeer, Michigan.
