ed as adopted in the 1880 and 1884 censuses and living with her paren
ts in Hadley, Michigan. She was listed in the 1900 census as a servant a
nd living in Hadley with George and his daughter, Delia.

Vena graduated from Hadley High School in 1889.

She married Levi and they had two children. The family was living in Padu
cah, Kentucky in 1916 when Veva and her two dauchters attended the Hemingw
ay reunion at the Bullock's home.
