Ethel was born March 10, 1892 at Hillman, michigan. Her parents were Thom
as Sumpton and Mary Hunt. She died October 10 1938 at Brighton, Michig
an and was buried at Green Oak Plains Cemetery ‎(Granger Lot)‎ in Livingst
on County, Michigan.

Lewis married the Widow Mary Barney. Mary had one son by her previous mar
riage and no children in her second marriage.

Lewis and Mary farmed near Hillsdale, Michigan and later moved to Lady Lak
e, Florida. They bought a home there and lived until his death. The ho
me was later sold and Mary Ellen's whereabouts is not known in 1976.

Lewis was buried at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fruitland Park, Florida.
