ey had three children. Muryl was born August 1, 1899.

Muryl has been very active in civic and public affairs. She has serv
ed as assistant township treasurer, as school director, village treasur
er and trustee in Otter Lake. She was a Girl Scout leader and member of t
he council for many years. In 1950 she was named by the Marathon Townsh
ip board to fill the unexpired term of her husband as supervisor. She w
as the first woman supervisor in Lapeer County.

Henry was a life-long resident of Lapeer County. He served on the Otter L
ake School Board of Education, Supervisor of Marathon Township, township c
lerk and treasurer and other offices in the Village of Otter Lake.

He was employed by the United States Government Ordinance Division.

Henry and Muryl celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1968. Hen
ry died in 1968 and is buried in the Otter Lake Cemetery, Otter Lake, Mich
igan.
