he Saginaw City Directory as a boarder at her parents' home from 1904 to 1
919. In 1904 she was listed as a student; an operator in 1910, a dressmak
er in 1912, and a forelady at "Saginaw Silk Garment" in 1917.

She is said to have gone to southern California and lived at 1947 Vineyar
d, Los Angeles, where she died in 1969. She was evidently not buried in F
orest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw although the family stone includes the insc
ription "Cora Hanks 1886-19.."
