ne year old. She married Jason and they had three children. Her husban
d, Jason died when her three boys were quite young. He was reported to ha
ve been killed. She lived with her sons in Hadley. Sixteen years later s
he married Poy who had a son, Howard. She corresponded with her sons a
nd he stepson, while they were in military service. She wrote a local col
umn for the Lapeer County Press in later years. She joined the Communi
ty Church in Hadley, Michigan in 1963.

Mary was reported to be living in a nursing home in 1976.
