da. He served in 1914 with the Canadidan Army. He was wounded and return
ed to service until 1918.

He married Bessie and no children have been reported.

He was a supervisor at Buick Motor Coompany in Flint, Michigan for over th
irty years. His widow lived in Flint in 1976.

George was not listed with his parents in the 1900 United States census wh
en he was fourteen years old. He was a member of the Lapeer Arbor of I.O.
O.G. in 1904. In 1910 he was living in Flint, Michigan and named his moth
er beneficiary of his life insurance. George and his wife, Bessie, issu
ed invitations to the marriage of their daughter, Guinevere Ellen Ivor
y, in Flint, Michigan on June 9, 1937. He died in 1961 and Bessie died M
ay 16, 1980 at ninty two years of age.
