as a merchant and honeymooned in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While there s
he wrote a letter to her mother which has survived. She and George visit
ed her parents for the Thanksgiving holiday. She was taken sick while the
re and died of typhoid fever a few days later.

She died shortly after her marriage and they had no children.
