Arthur moved to Sherman, Michigan for a short time, then to Lake City, Mic
higan and finally to Marion, Michigan. He was a partner in a hardware sto
re, ‎(McDoudy and Morton Hardware)‎ and later he was sole owner. He operat
ed the store for about fifty years. Arthur and Jennie had seven children.
