He married Myrtle and they had three children.

Myrtle was the daughter of Mark and Mary Estella Dewitt. She was born Aug
ust 12, 1877 at New Hope, New York and died August 6, 1953 at Goodrich, Mi
chigan. She was buried at Hadley church yard, Hadley, Michigan.

Reverend Motier and family attended the 1916 Hemingway reunion at Carlos B
ullock's home. They lived at West Winfield, New York at the time.

Motier died in 1961 at Topeka, Kansas and wad buried in the church ya
rd at Hadley, Michigan.
