er. He was very particular about all he did. He made musical instrumen
ts and had a one man band.

He married Jennie and they had no children.

Jennie was born in 1881 and was later known to have lost her mind. She w
as in the hospital at Pontiac, Michigan in 1914 and while walking wi
th an attendant in the yard she jumped in front of a train and was kille
d.
Ward and his brother, Elmer, lived on the old Stark Farm owned by his pare
nts not far from the town of Oxford, Michigan. Both of the brothers in th
eir declining years, were looked after by Arthur Valentine, their cousin.

Ward died in 1945 and was buried beside his wife in the Oxford Cemetery, O
xford, Michigan.
