n. Irving served as supervisor and treasurer of Marathon Township. He w
as sheriff of Lapeer County for four years and postmaster at Lapeer for fo
ur years. He was in the insurance business.

Irving died in 1930. The funeral service for Irving was held at his ho
me on Law Street, Lapeer, Michigan with Reverend Frank S. Hemingway offici
ating. Flora died in 1931. They are buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Lapee
r, Michigan.
