About 1900 she lived with her sister, Mary, for a period in Baltimore, Mar
yland and returned to her parents' home to live with her sister, Helen.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church both in Lapeer and at Baltimor
e.

She was in poor health for four years. She had been up and out but was ta
ken ill. After an attempt to save her by surgery, she died in Lapeer in 1
909. She was buried at Hadley in her parents' camily plot.
