| Shared Note: - Thomas moved to Ann Arbor with his parents. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1873 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was livi ng in East Saginaw, Michigan in 1880 with his wife and his mother. He w as working as an architect.
He and Carrie had two children. They adopted a daughter Julia May.
Thomas worked as a builder and architect both with partners and alone f or several years. The 1909 Saginaw directory lists him as superintenda nt of B. G. Appleby Company with Julia and Lynn boarding with him.
The 1913 Saginaw directory lists him with the note "removed to Lowell, Mic higan". He died in Lowell in 1919 and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemete ry in Saginaw, Michigan.
The 1921 directory shows Carrie, widow of Thomas, living on Weadock with M rs. Julia Kendall. Carrie married Edmund R. Reed in 1922. She died in 19 32 and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Thomas.
