| Shared Note: - Albert married Clarissa and they had three children. Clarissa was the daughter of Samuel and Nancy Grunendyke. She was born Ap ril 3, 1833 at Chili, New York and died March 23, 1868. She was buri ed at Chili.
Albert married a second time to Carrie and they had two children. Carr ie was born November 28, 1840 at Rochester, New York.
Albery Smith Lytle is listed as a resident of Hadley, Michigan in 1876. A lbert and Carrie attended the 1916 Hemingway reunion.
He died in 1918 at Flint and was buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Flint, Mic higan. Carrie was living in Flint, Michigan in 1920.
Albert had blue eyes and pink cheeks in later life according to his grandd auchter, Carrie, in her book "Home Farm". She describes Albert as only mo derately successful as a farmer and less successful as a merchant. He lov ed music and sang and played the flute. He taught singing in New York sta te and was most successful as a teacher in a boy's reform school in Roches ter, New York. Albert and Carrie were involved in the Ladies' Library Ass ociation in Hadley, Michigan in 1874. He lived in Coldwater, Michig an in 1909.
