| Shared Note: - Lemuel's first wife, Emma, was born inEngland and came to Toronto, Canada. Lemuel and Emma had three children. They lived on a farm near his fath er's in Chili, New York. Emma died on Augusst 3, 1861 and was buried in E vergreen Cemetery in North Chili, New York.
A few years later Lemuel and his three dauchters came to Michigan and liv ed on a farm in Green Oak Township, Livingston County, Michigan. Lemuel m et Ann Hedican at Green Oak and they were married in 1866. Ann's paren ts were among the first settlers to take up land in Green Oak Townsh ip in about 1832.
Ann Lemuel spent most their married years on the old Hedican farm just nor th of Silver Lake where they were engaged in farming. They purchased a fa rm in Iosco Township, Livingston County, later and lived there a short tim e.
Lemuel and Ann had three children.
Lemuel died in 1905 and was buried in Green Oak Plains Cemetery.
After he died his widow, Ann, spent seventeen years in the home of her dau ghter, Hattie Peach. Ann's home was a log house located a short distan ce from her daughters on the shore of Silver Lake.
Ann died on February 26, 1923 and she was buried near Lemuel in Green O ak Plains Cemetery.
