er and father had moved there in 1788.

Abigail and Daniel were married and they had eight children. They work
ed a farm. Daniel served in the War of 1812.

Abigail died in 1832. No buriel plot for her and two young sons has been f
ound.

Daniel married a second time to Sarah Bradford Walker. He and Sarah had t
hree children: Abigail, Cynthia and Charles.

Daniel died February 14, 1863 at Chili, New York and was buried in Evergre
en Cemetary in North Chili, New York. An article in the paper print
ed at the time of Daniel's death said he came with his father in 1810 to l
ive on the same farm he died on. Daniel's sister, Merrillia Potter, marri
ed Abigail's brother Needham Hemingway. Abigail was a member of the Socie
ty of Friends.
