William married Clara and they had one child. Will operated and owned a H
ardware Store in Otter Lake for many years. He served as Village Preside
nt and Clerk. He also sold cars, was a member of the Lapeer County road c
ommission and a Deputy Sheriff. As a deputy, he issued drivers' license
s. Some of us received our first license to drive from him.

Clara was born November 13, 1875 and died in November 1947. Will di
ed in 1945. They are buried in the Otter Lake Cemetery.
